Riders of Victoria... Indeed, Australia.

This is a chance for you to have your say in a national survey on "Characteristics of Road Safety Strategies in Australia" being conducted by Dr Joao Canoquena of Queensland University of Technology, allowing you to comment on topics such as:

- Mobile drug / Random breath tests

- Median strip barriers

- Wire rope barriers

- Rumble strips

- Road maintenance

- Protective clothing

Dr Canoquena says that this survey "aims to measure the attitudes of the Australian community towards some features of the most common road safety strategies such as mobile drug tests.

Please, access the survey by clicking here.

All relevant Ministers have been notified of the survey. The Federal Department of Infrastructure, Regional Development and Cities has also been provided with a copy of the survey.

Please, forward this survey to as many people as you possibly can.

Let us have a strong representation of all road user groups in this important survey! If the numbers are representative of the motoring community, a series of recommendations will be made to the respective governments. A representative sample for the whole of the Australian motoring population would need to exceed 1000.

Should you wish to forward some constructive feedback about the survey, please, do so by replying to this e-mail, once you have completed it.

The survey is confidential. No individual participant will be identified to a third party. The results will only be used as aggregate outcomes. Once analysed, the data will be destroyed."
