Bus Lane Access - Your Suggestions

Anyone noticed that traffic in major population centres has increased significantly following the lifting of Covid restrictions?

You have? So have we.

It seems that public transport is being shunned which means the roads are busier than ever - and likely to get busier as more people stop working from home.

Riders know and enjoy that bikes are a winning congestion beating covid safe form of transport!

To make things a little safer while making our (COVID-safe) congestion beating progress though, the VMC thinks this might be a good opportunity to encourage the Government to review broadening motorcycle access to bus lanes.

So we are putting a call out to riders to nominate which busy roads we should prioritise and put forward for bus lane access.

It’s worked well for Hoddle Street and seems to be working well for the Eastern Freeway inbound. To help you, here's a  list of "Metropolitan local area maps".
